How to choose and buy the headstock bearing correctly?

Relative to the rotation of the sleeve, the load on the bearing sleeve is divided into local load, cyclic load and swing load. Ordinary periodic load (rotating load) and swing load adopt tight assembly; For local loads, close fitting cannot be used unless there is a special purpose. When bearing a large load, the inner and outer rings need interference fit, but sometimes the outer ring can be slightly loose and can swing axially in the housing hole of the bearing seat; In the case of bearing swing load and light load, you can choose a slightly loose fit.

1. Load specification

The interference between the bearing sleeve and the shaft or casing hole in the products wholesale by the manufacturer of the headstock bearing is determined by the size of the load. When the load is concentrated, the larger interference should be selected; In case of light load, smaller interference fit shall be adopted. At P<0.07 C, it is usually a light load, and when P is greater than 0.07 C, it is less than 0. 15 ℃ is normal load, P is greater than 0. At 15 C, the main load (C is the rated dynamic load of the bearing).

2. Operating temperature

During the operation of the bearing, the temperature of the ring is often higher than the temperature of the adjacent parts. Therefore, the customized inner ring of the cartridge type head bowl bearing may loosen with the shaft due to thermal expansion, and the outer ring may affect the axial shaking of the bearing in the housing hole due to thermal expansion. When selecting the fit, the temperature difference, expansion and contraction of the bearing equipment should be taken into account. When the temperature difference is large, the fit interference between the selected shaft and the inner ring should be larger.

3. Rotation accuracy

When the bearing is required to have high rotation accuracy, clearance fit should be avoided in order to eliminate the elastic deformation and vibration effects.

Structure and material of bearing housing hole.

When the customized product of motorcycle head bowl bearing fits with the bearing outer ring, the interference fit should not be used, nor should the outer ring rotate in the housing hole. For bearings installed on thin wall shell holes, light metal shell holes or hollow shafts, a tighter fit than thick wall shell holes, cast iron shell holes or solid shafts shall be used.
